The Riobel Authentica Thermostatic Floor-Mount Tub Filler Trim with Hand Shower combines the architectural character of the Authentica collection with high-performance thermostatic control and a dramatic freestanding design.
Inspired by the Art Deco and Streamline Moderne movements, Authentica blends cylindrical forms, horizontal lines and elegant curves to create a sophisticated fixture with timeless character.
Designed to complement a freestanding bathtub, the TAU39 rises elegantly from the floor and features a generous C-spout, integrated hand shower and thermostatic temperature control for a refined and comfortable bathing experience.
Please Note: This product is the decorative tub filler trim. Required floor-mount rough-in valve is sold separately.
Thermostatic Temperature Control
The Authentica TAU39 uses thermostatic technology to help maintain a consistent and comfortable water temperature.
Thermostatic control automatically compensates for changes in hot and cold water pressure, helping reduce sudden temperature fluctuations during use.
High-Flow Tub Filling
With a tub-filling flow rate of approximately 6 GPM / 23 LPM at 60 PSI, the Authentica TAU39 is designed to efficiently fill large freestanding bathtubs.
Its approximately 9-3/8" spout reach provides generous clearance over the bathtub while maintaining the collection's distinctive architectural appearance.
Integrated Hand Shower
A coordinating single-function hand shower provides additional flexibility for bathing, rinsing the bathtub and everyday cleaning.
The hand shower provides approximately 1.8 GPM / 6.7 LPM at 60 PSI and includes a generous 59" hose for comfortable reach.
An integrated diverter allows water to be directed between the tub spout and hand shower.

Rough-In Valve Required – Sold Separately
A floor-mount rough-in valve is required for installation and is not included with the TAU39 trim.
Choose the appropriate Riobel rough-in according to the installation:

The rough-in should be selected before installation based on the floor construction and plumbing requirements.

Please select the appropriate rough-in based on floor construction and confirm all plumbing locations before the finished floor is completed.
