At the heart of Clear Mg are Focal's 40mm pure Magnesium M-shaped dome drivers. Magnesium combines excellent rigidity with high damping and low weight, allowing the drivers to reproduce fine musical details while delivering precise, impactful dynamics across the frequency range.
The open-back architecture and honeycomb earcup grilles provide excellent sound openness, while the M-shaped internal grilles follow the profile of the drivers to support precise high-frequency reproduction and an expansive soundstage.
With a 55-ohm impedance, Clear Mg can deliver excellent performance with a wide variety of high-quality headphone amplifiers and portable audio sources. Premium materials including genuine leather, microfibre and solid aluminum complete the sophisticated Chestnut and Mixed Metals design.
